How to add other mics and guitar to GNS-MS01

Currently I'm hooking my Genos with the MS01 when playing or practicing by myself. When playing with my friends as a small band, I would send everything to my Zoom L12 mixer and output to a pair of Bose L1s. Sometimes I'm playing with my wife who plays a plug-in acoustic guitar and sings, so I wonder if anyone has tried to add additional mics and other instrument like a guitar to the mixer and bring everything back to the Genos then out to the GNS MS01? If so can you share your setup and also your experience with your setup? I've tried to hook it up that way but it seems like the Genos sound is going in a loop and is very loud comparing to the mics and the guitar.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there

Your question piqued my interest. I asked myself why would someone want to do this?

- MSO1 has one input - a DIN socket that connects your keyboard.
- Genos 2 has a mic input and several outputs and we can record MIDI and WAV directly. There is also a connection for your PC.
- Zoom LiveTrak 12 is a 12 -channel digital mixer that also records (pre-EQ and effects) to an SD card.
- Bose L1 (there are several models from 8-32) with two combo XLR-1/4" phantom-powered inputs, 1/4" and 1/8" (3.5 mm) aux inputs, plus Bluetooth streaming capability.
- Genos 2 also has Bluetooth connectivity.

It would seem... (a British English phrase means, 'I don't know for certain') that you have many options for producing an excellent sound. Both of your sound systems are very portable.

So, it would seem that you want to use the onboard Genos DSP for other inputs or giving a practical example - you would like to use the vocal DSP effects feature with more than one mic? Perhaps when we identify what you are trying to achieve others can join-in with options.
