If you unpack the archive file "GENOS 2.8.1.7z" (267 MB) from Misu's last download link (with the program >>> "Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login"), you will get a .ppf file that is almost 600 MB in size.

I put in YEM and show something are missing....

need advice.

I imported both (CFX Grand Piano.ppf and GENOS 2.8.1.ppf) in YEM v2.9.0 without a problem.

Finally success after i update the YEM from v2.6 to v2.8 on my PC window 7 x64.

Is there a PC software program to extract VCE PPF Files ?

Obviously StyleExtractor only does Styles.

The pianos in this free CFX pack weren't very good in my opinion.

I would quite agree, even I haven't tried it.
I have only loaded this this CFX in YEM and when I saw that the whole keybed is covered by 13 samples (a single sample covers lower two octaves), I didn't even bother to create install pack.

The content of the pack that the colleague shares belongs to the guys at Playsounds Corp.

I downloaded the pack from a national arranger user site.
I just changed the name to 2.8.1 so I know the YEM version.
There were no CPF or PPF with blocked voices except for a Flamenco Guitar probably taken from a Yamaha pack.
Anyway I deleted any possibility of linking to that content.

I don't know how unprotected copies are around, but i strongly agree that we all Need to reward anybody's work.
I bought several 3rd party sound packages (including these ones from playsounds) and honestly they have a reasonable price.
The investment is worth.

No good stuff can be available for free.

To be sure of this I would have to find the source again which takes time, and time, at my age, does not mean money is just precious.
What we can achieve, they will find a site where a person, probably in good faith, uploaded something not encoded that he took from someone else, certainly without money, to help the community members.
Of course they could even try to close the site, and I would be part of this mess where trying to help peoples would destroy a community of music players.
I work on voices and styles for Korg and Yamaha every day but after this I will have to think twice about sharing - business wins.
For this reason I like Korg, where everyone contributes without fear that << this Flamingo Guitar is mine>> without expecting money in return.
I do not think I want to be part of this activity it seems to be a kind of internet police.
The easiest thing for PlaySounds(never here until now) would be to code their packs (Yamaha gave this possibility).
If somehow they have an internal breach they should look for it there.
If it were CPF I wouldn't even bother downloading it.
Even like this at 600MB I never installed it, so I don't know about the quality of pack.
In our country the interest in international music is low because it is found everywhere (voice, midi or styles).
That's about it, please admin delete this thread.
