Hi,

I have traditionally been a single finger accompaniment player on my Genos 1 and all my registrations are saved accordingly

I have recently started practising piano playing with both hands and now want to change all my registrations (more than 1000) from single finger to multi finger accompaniment.

Is there a simple way to do it though software, all at once ?

Regards

Anand

Yes. Using Murray's software, YRM (Yamaha Registration Manager)

In the Utilties options there is a section called Parameter Lock which allows you to lock the current fingering -- even if it is changed by a registration.  So if you always want to use multi-fingered, set that up and the go the Parameter Lock and choose the option to lock the fingering. No need to change all the registrations.  By the way, as you advance, I recomment using Fingered On Bass which lets you play interesting bass progressions by playing the bass note you wish (e.g., in a slash chord such as C/G) as the lowest note of the chord.
