Hi everyone,

Since the Bonus Playlist is obviously not yet linked on all Yamaha PSR-SX920/720 download pages worldwide, here are the direct download links:
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

By the way, the SX920 Playlist download contains 1150 Registration Bank files (.rgt) (SX720 version: 901 .rgt files) and 16 Playlist files (.tsv) in 16 Genre folders. Please see the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file, which is also included.

Best regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris,

As a "heads up" the SX920 downloads fine, but SX720 link may be broke.

I'm going to try them on a SX900, but I suspect many missing pieces

SX900 does not have the same potentials as SX920, it lacks the SA+ of the newest keyboard and some rgt may not be loaded because wrong content.

Thanks Larry,

I fixed the SX700 link above (was "http://" instead of correctly "https://" protocol).

If the SX920 .rgt files work on the SX900, you can of course try them out. But I'm afraid that the SX920 .rgt files cannot be loaded on a SX900 at all.

By the way, since many SX900/700/600 owners may not have downloaded the associated Yamaha Bonus Playlist yet, I've just created this new "sticky" topic: :)

Just as we thought. The SX920/SX720 Playlist will not load on the SX900/SX700.

Hi shezza,

I assume that you have copied the "Bonus Playlist" correctly onto a USB stick (according to the instructions in the included ReadMe file). The "PlaylistForPSR-SX920" folder must therefore be located directly in the root directory of the stick and in it the 16 Genre folders.

The "Bonus Playlist" does not contain any styles, only Registration Bank files (.rgt) and Playlist files (.tsv). So if you first open the STYLE Selection display and from there to the relevant folders on the stick, you will only see empty folders.

If you first open the REGISTRATION BANK Selection display and from there navigate to the stick (User > USB1 > PlaylistForPSR-SX920 folder) and open the desired Genre folder there (touch), you can load and use the included Registration Banks directly.

However, to use the playlist as intended by Yamaha, you first open the PLAYLIST display. There, touch the box with the name of the currently loaded playlist at the top to open the Playlist Selection display. Here you go to the stick (User > USB1 > PlaylistForPSR-SX920 folder) and open the desired Genre folder. Now you can see the playlist file for this genre (e.g. Ballroom) and can load and use it.

By the way, to have faster access to the Playlist files (.tsv), I recommend copying these (16) .tsv files from the Genre folders directly into the "PlaylistForPSR-SX920" folder. (The easiest way to do this is on the computer.)

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

Thanks for your reply, When I go into the files on my PC I have noticed that there are lots of actual song names. I take it that that means the style will be ideal for that song, Well it's those song titles I cannot see........But I will try what you suggested tomorrow and let you know. Thanks

Hi shezza,

The "actual song names" you mentioned are the names of the included Registration Bank files (.rgt).

Please make sure that all file extensions are displayed in Windows Explorer (File Explorer) on the PC. You may need to set this up first, see the following link:
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

Then please proceed as described in my previous post, i.e. use the Registration Bank Selection display or the Playlist Selection display, but NOT the STYLE Selection display.

Best regards,
Chris
