Is the SX920 Freezing Issue Finally Resolved in the V1.12 Update?

I've been going through a lot of user comments about the PSR-SX920 and noticed that keyboard freezing seems to be a common issue where both the touchscreen and keys become unresponsive. The only way to fix it appears to be restarting the keyboard.From what I've read, this usually happens after installing third-party style packs. Unfortunately, even the firmware update V1.11 didn't seem to fix the problem.

I'm seriously considering buying the PSR-SX920, mainly because I want to add custom styles. But this issue is making me think twice.

So my question is: Has anyone experienced this freezing problem before? And if so, did the new firmware update V1.12 finally fix it?

The keyboard and features are excellent! But the crash continues in update 1.12, not fixed, I even think it is the processor of the sx720/920 line

Yes, I've always used mainly 3rd party styles, from all over. They have not given me any issues on this or my previous keyboard. I've also used 3rd party registrations and conversions, no problems with them either. Now and again I might be missing voices, but that's normal.

The only issue I've had with the 720 happened when I had my notation/midi program open while playing. Not always, but on three occasions one piece with registration, midi and style (purchased) has got 'stuck', it froze, and at different parts of the piece. This doesn't happen when the program isn't open, and it doesn't happen every time the program is open, so it's difficult to get to the bottom of it.
My solution is not to have the program open when I play it, and it has never got stuck when playing it this way. And as it only happened with that one piece (+program open) I can't consider the keyboard or the reg+style at fault in any way.

This would make me wonder if those keyboards having the issue are connected to a computer with something running that's interfering. Perhaps not, but I don't really see too many complaining this happens to them.

p.s. I've never installed any expansion packs, I can't comment on them
