Create "Chord Looper" Files for Genos or PSR SX (update 15/04/2025)

Hello,
Here is a small software program created by Tbackes (PSR Tutorial) designed to create chord loops for Yamaha Genos and PSR SX systems with the "Chord Looper" function.

I've made a few modifications to improve chord comprehension.
Some complex chords aren't always well understood by the Genos or PSR SX systems (my version 2 fixes this problem).
Standard chords are no problem (there are 33 possible chords with this utility).

Important practical detail:
If you save the chord file as a .txt file (menu "Save" + file name .txt), you can reload the chord file using the option "Open" + file name .txt and modify it as desired. Remember to specify .txt when saving, otherwise the backup will not have the .txt extension.
The "Open" option for a .clb file is currently not available.
Only the "Export CLB" option works correctly.
You can enter chords directly into the boxes using your computer keyboard without using the drop-down menus (except for # and flats).
Type C for C major
Type C7 for C7th
Type Cm for C minor
Etc.

I cant get this to work. 720 does not recognize once the app edits it. Could be pilot error.

How do you mean, "once the app edits it" ? I might be misunderstanding.

I used it. I made a chord progression in the program, saved the CLB and opened it in my SX720. Worked a treat.
