My request is that I am hoping that someone can upload a popular Song Rgt that I can try in my 670..... I have been using stys since day one and thinking about changing my workflow.

So if a User creates a rgt using only stock sounds, this should work on any 670 ?

If the registration was created on a 670, it will work on any other 670.

But if it was created on a different model, no. Registrations are not generally transferable from one model keyboard to another.

Yamaha are usually backwards compatible, maybe something from here, Registration Files, would work for you. You might need to experiment, try a couple from a few choices and see how it goes.

I've tried Reg for unknown Yamaha keyboards and the results vary, some good and some not so good. It's worth a try though, nothing much lost.

I am hoping to find someone who has a DGX670 and by using stock sounds/styles, has created a rgt that I could import into my 670...

Why not just make your own? They're pretty simple to create.

Cheers?

Ron:

Why don't you download the Bonus Playlist from Yamaha.  That will give you lots of registrations to play with.

One can do without most things, but not without the pleasure of music.

Hi Ron,

Yes, just download the DGX-670 Bonus Playlist. It contains 1100 Registration Banks (.rgt) in 16 Genre folders and 16 Playlist files (.tsv), one for each Genre.

The registrations can of course also be loaded directly, i.e. without using the Playlist function.

Best regards,
Chris
