Dear all I find some time downloaded style files required  re voice and update drum kit. It happen for mostly style files created with expension drum kit or style file created in other keyboard where a drum kit is available as default.

How can I find the original drumkit name so I can revoice them if required ??

Thanks
Flanker

Hello Flanker

Knowing the drum kit name will not help you if you do not have that kit on your keyboard.

It is best to just keep changing out the kit using each of your kits that your keyboard has until you find the one that sounds "best to you".
Then edit (ie change a note to a different sound or delete it) and save style with a new name.

You can use this program to get a drum kit name:
http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/revsty/index.htm

It works best by choosing the Genos keyboard, as the Genos has all the known drum kits (except the new Genos 2 kits).

That's the way I go about revoicing my styles.
