I really never gave it a second thought but my wife asked me what does "PSR" mean (the acronym if there is one)?

I've searched the forum and have not found anything and there is nothing in my manuals.

Its odd, I have had a PSR since the '90's but never really thought about it. -Ed L.

Hi Ed,

"PSR" is a further development of the "PS" (PortaSound) series. So, "PSR" stands for "PortaSound Regular": :)

Best regards,

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

There was also a PSS series where the second S stood for small, as in small keys. R stands for regular size keys.

Thanks Chris & Derek. It was just one of those things that got me wondering. Now I know! -Ed L.
