New Genos sounds and registrations

Hi      This is a light hearted Comment!!


I am not enamored with the new sounds and registrations.
It is more for EDM pill poppers and  for people in their 90's or 100's   IMO!!! ;D
That flippin annoying  Schlager and Choir nonsence. Ok for the Beer Drinkers, thigh slappers, maybe a little New age with a moany voice!!

Where is the stuff for the rock generation and 60s and 70s crowd. Give us more real  Electric Guitars and  synths. More Blues, Tamla, SKA, Atlantic, Stax, Reggae.,Prog rock!!!!!!
It is like music on cruise ships, Des  O' Connor merry go round.
I am a Rolling stoner and ELO fan "I cant get no Satisfation" ;D "SAUSAGES!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) What about us Baby Boomers at 68. We can still hard Rock and Roll. That is if the Sciatica does not play up!! 8) ;D
The best thing is Chord looper. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I'm in agreement with you about the styles.

Is there any info on how to find and use the Chord Looper feature ?

I found it in the new Reference manual starting on page 13.

Hi St Keys

Go to the menu and Chord Looper is in there.
Just press record and play your chord progression. then save . That' it. do the same for all boxes that contain loops.
If you experiment ,you will get the hang of it

For me there are far to many Guitars on Genos its self and you have lots of effects you can add to make then sound totally different. There are also lots of Guitars in the packs.
  There are some nice styles in the pack which I am pleased about.

The style/sound addonpack is a great bonus to the OS update.
We're living in different parts of the world, and we have various music taste, so to please every single user 100% by this addonpack, would never happen. Some nice styles, and also some nice sounds mixed in OTS settings.
That said, everything during update went smooth and no problems.  A short message that came up just after power off said that it was not done as it should and userdata got lost, but did not miss anything except som settings such as assignable buttons and pedals. I see some others noticed the same message.
As far as I can see till now, there is nothing wrong, but maybe it's a few seconds slower to boot up?

they added what wasn't there yet
the things you ask for are allready in abbundance inside the genos 1.41

The Owner's, Reference and Data List manuals have been updated, too.

Try pages 13, 15 and 16 of the new Genos Reference Manual.
