The message and the link are deleted by me .
I will be only as a reader on the forum the coming time .
Something very unfriendly happened which I will not explain
on the forum .

I'm baffled.

Why would you be baffled? Unfriendly people are common to any forum. And one of them upset Mark to the point of his deleting his work.

It doesn't surprise me. And it won't surprise me that irresponsible people won't learn any lessons from it.

I am with you Fred.
I feel that since the Genos was announced, several members decided to, in a way, protest the Genos even before it came out.
And when it did, it did not live up to what THEY thought should be in it.
Rather than see how amazing it was improved to the TYROS 5, they decided to put it down.
Having owned arrangers from the Lowery MX1 to many Yamaha arrangers the Genos is the best sounding by far.
I am still appreciating what it has, not what it has not!

There are trolls on every forum...insecure, unhappy people who can only feel important by harassing others.

That said, I've been impressed by how the mods on this forum watch that closely.

For me, the goal is to keep growing/learning.

So am I! And I think members here report posts that are not nice. This forum is a great place to be, so it is very sad that people leave it or are afraid to post because of trolls.

.....because of trolls.

As everybody know, I'm a Troll, I'm from Norway, the land of Trolls.  ;) :D  ;D

Too bad that MarkZ desided to delete his post and link to his work that gave us a nice demo of what can be done by use of the style editing feature.
I did not see any bad comments in this thread, but if it was, maybe it is deleted by moderators?

Hopefully it's not because of misunderstandings due to misspellings and different languages, or different way to see what is said as a humoristic comment that caused the situation. That sort of things happens, even here at this forum.  :-[

Hey Mark

If you are still reading this post please reconsider carrying on posting. You obviously delve into the possibilities of the  Genos, and your posts such the deleted one inspires other owners to experiment more. Don't let a troll put you off, count the positive posts and 'likes' you received, which outweigh the negative.

Cheers
Terry

I have just downloaded this funky-happy tune.
Listening to it again after 2 weeks, these are the most impressive sounds I heard from the Genos and I like it better than the youtube presentations I have watched.
I am just a listener and my taste and hearing are maybe not good but I cannot change them anyway ;D

Hi Mark,
I just listened to your tune again this morning... and it sounded even better than the first time!

Commercial quality for sure.
