Is it possible to load Korg PA5X factory styles on the Genos 2? If so, could someone kindly point to where the PA5X factory style banks are available? Thanks!

I think you would have to run them thru a style converter program. Then load and tweak.

I was reading the Korg forums and its seems even Korg users are having difficulties transferring styles between PA4x and 5x, let alone 5x and Genos 2. So to revise my original question a little, is it possible to load PA4x styles on the Genos 2? If so, where can PA4X factory styles be found?

Hi,

On Korg before saving a SET must unprotect factory styles.
Saved SET will contain all factory styles.
Then using Style works you can convert - not so well.
Is not easy way.
For better work:
Save one factory style in USER area.
Export as MIDI pushing Shift you will obtain entire style as one midi.
You will have all parts and CV in one file.
Now you can create an Yamaha style with any kind of software you want.
No need to change score to be on CM7 just choose correctly in style creator if was cv1-D-Major choose D-Major.
The more you go into detail, the closer the result will be to the truth.
I make a midi style on Korg in a maximum of an hour, on Yamaha unfortunately it can take a day.
I don't really see who would waste so much time, maybe only a few really special styles.

Best regards!
