a new end table, made from epoxy finished Mappa Burl  using the natural edge, though I may decide to square it off if Carol doesn't like it. Might even round it off using deep pour epoxy, which would be a real challenge for this old codger. The attached video is a few minutes after applying the second coat of sealer. This will be sanded to 2,000 grit sometime tomorrow before I apply the finish coat of epoxy, then attach the legs in a few days after the epoxy is fully cured. Yeah, it's a lot of work, but damned, I really love the outcome.

The next project will be a wall clock, made of epoxy finished cottonwood slab, which will be quite challenging as well. It will be a bit on the heavy side, tipping the scales at about 20 pounds.
