Hello, if you sell your GN2 you don't have much choice anymore!!
Korg Pa5x is not an option because there are many hardware and software problems,
the support is literally a disaster. no response yet about the faded buttons!!!
Ketron is just as bad, not to mention ***!!!
I just threw out my Korg Pa5x!! Also, I will never buy another Korg!
Yamaha is currently the only reliable company when it comes to instruments.

Hello Group,

There's only one thing better than a Genos2: a SECOND Genos2. :)

I would never sell my second G2. I always have it with me in the car as a backup device during live performances. Although I've never had a failure with my previous Yamaha keyboards (Tyros4/5 and Genos1), you can never rule this out 100 percent ...

Best regards,
Chris

The older Tyros range were of a much higher build quality IMO and far more reliable than anything produced today.

Put it this way... If I could pick up a Brand New T4 today, I'd buy it in preference to any current arranger.
I think the T4 was the ultimate arranger.
Touch screens apart, everything since seems to be more problematic

No Yamaha keyboards at present.

I had 2 - not anymore.

I'll see what OS updates brings in future, same for YEM, but as it stands now, I personally wasn't satisfied at all.

Hi Andy,

Yes, now I have two of them, and I'm still very happy with my decision to buy a second G2. :)

As I wrote above, I always have a second keyboard with me as a reserve when performing live. Most recently these were Tyros5 and Genos1 (which I still have). Back then, I almost always played live with the T5, and the G1 was only there as a backup (mainly because of the weak display, which was difficult to read under certain conditions). I had previously adapted styles and MIDI files to the T5 for compatibility reasons, i.e. I hardly used the new sounds and effects of the G1.

Now, with 2x Genos2, I can use all of its features without restriction, so I no longer have to worry about backwards compatibility with the predecessor or always create two versions of styles/MIDI files/registrations.

Best regards
Chris
