Hello friends, I am experimenting with multipads files and doing so when I created a a loop for a cowbell sound it stops abruptly and then starts again.. what do I need to do to make it sounds smoothly without stopping suddenly?

It must be a full bar. Multipads repeat starting on beat 1.

There exist looping and non non-looping multipads.
A looping multipad always starts at the first beat of the next measure after pushing the multipad button and keeps looping until you stop it.
A non-looping multipad starts directly when pushing the multipad button and stops automatically when it is finished.

What multipad are you using to loop the cowbell ? A preset one ?

If plan A doesn't work, don't forget that the alphabet has 25 more letters.

... and beware that the last note (including fx like sustain) ends ( qua lenght) before the nexf loop starts ...  ;)

I am starting from scratch.  I selected a drum kit that has a cow bell and used that. Just to let you know Iam a beginner at this.

How do you know when the last beat ends?

There is a step-by-step guide here in the Lessons section:

For what you have in mind, it might be easier to use the step record function. This is also recommended in the (not bad) manual.

From the PSR-S900/S700 Owner's Manual:
QuoteTo ensure that your repeated rhythmic phrases play back in a perfect loop, be careful to stop recording right on the very last beat of the phrase, just before the "one" of the next measure. If it is difficult to get a good loop, you may want to use the Step Record functions on the EDIT page.

The EDIT page indicates the Event list that lets you record notes with absolutely precise timing.
