Hi, I replaced my Tyros 5 with Genos 2.
I have an LD Systems Dave 10 G4X sound system. In the T5, I had the speakers connected to the AUX IN socket (R and L/L+R). However, when I connect it to Genos 2, I have no sound. Only when connected to the LINE OUT Main socket (R and L/L+R) there is sound. Why ? What is the difference between these sockets?

Hi newkey20,

I think you're wrong: AUX IN is not an output but an input, e.g. for connecting an external MP3 player.

Please connect an external sound system on Genos2 (just like on Tyros5) to the Line Out Main jacks. Note that the arrangement of the rear jacks has changed on Genos2.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

In addition: for the sub etc.
You can assign any desired part or drum/percussion instrument sound to any of the LINE OUT jacks, for independent output.
The operation display can be called up via [MENU] à [Line Out]. (See Ref.Man. page 170) ;)
My best regards,
Ton
