Genos2/YEM - Wish/Bug List

I say this because the SX600's expansion memory is so small (100 Mb) that it fills up quickly with few samples.
I hope there is some solution for this

There is not going to be a solution, it is a fact of life - that is why the 600 is a lot cheaper than the 900 with 1GB of memory.

Interesting indeed.
I have received 15min WAV recording from Genos2, and I can hear random pops/cutoffs during playback. I noticed it 3 times.
I hope this too will be addressed  soon.

I also think it's totally idiotic that you don't have a way of importing at least a standard DX7 compatible sy*** file into the YEM and make your own DX sound pack.

I have a feeling that Yamaha will give us great update/s for both G2 and YEM 🍻🙏

Yes, that would be smart of Yamaha. There is still much room for improvement and new features to be programmed. Oties that Genos2 does not have but the competitor Korg Pa5X does have. And perhaps lower the price to compete

Probably for G2 keyboard, but for YEM, I don't think so! In these years of using Yamaha, I saw what Yamaha did with YEM, and I don't think those great improvements/expectings will be added to YEM, unfortunately. I would like to see something like that, but I don't really believe it.

I hear ya and its similar opinion as to many others I interact with.
But as Yamaha knows that I bought G2, updates will come, for both YEM and G2 faster than usual!  ❤️🍻😁😂🫣

In some cases, samples imported in YEM are not playable until re-saved in AwaveStudio (no changes needed to be done, just re-save file). Importing that file/sample back into YEM plays fine.
