Can anyone who has genos 2 share the style files, I'm eager to know if it can be played on Genos 1!

Regards.

Dutchman

You're asking someone who just bought a 5000euro arranger to share what he/she just got for free with you?
Realy?

Dutchman and Tyrosman,

It is not inappropriate to share new Yamaha preset styles with users of older Yamaha keyboards. :)  :)  :)  These have been available for years in the Style downloads section here on psrtututorial for users to enjoy. Genos2 styles however are not over there, so below is the link for them. They certainly have not been re-worked yet for Genos1 or the SX line. Purchased voice and style packs made by existing 3rd party vendors should not be shared of course.

The styles from G2 don`t have some effects and missing all reverb. In fact G1 isn`t as good as other keyboards  when transferring styles from previous models

The reason for this is very simple:

Users who are not Charter/Supporting Members or Senior Members will receive an error message if they click on a link for which they do not have the necessary permissions. And the admins and moderators are then often flooded with requests/PMs. Therefore, as I said, no links to threads in the Charter/Supporting Member boards should be posted in the public forum.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

I think that is quite fair. The cost to be a supporting member of PSR Tutorial is in fact very low.
If we can afford to buy those expensive keyboards, then I assume we have some coins to spend to open the treasure camber. It will help to keep this site alive as well. 8)
