Can anyone with a windows 10 machine provide me with the dxgi.dll file?

I'm trying to run Yamaha's MIDI to Style program on my Windows 7 machine.  When I boot the program a dialog box opens with the message: The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll.

I looked at the code in the dxgi.dll file on my Win7 machine and it does not contain that line of code.  So... I'm wonder if the Win10 xgi.dll file does contain that code.  It is worth the try to see if I can run this program on Windows 7.

Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

hi Joe,
If you wish I can send you the file you're asking for, but I'm afraid this file alone won't help you. That is, even if you put this file into Windows system, you will probably be asked for another missing file. The thing is, this file is a part of DirectX package.
I recommend you to download latest DirectX package from Microsoft and install it in your Windows7.

Bogdan,

I tried downloading the file for Windows 7.  It didn't help.  Maybe you can send me the file I requested.  It's worth a try... I have nothing to loose. There have been other Windows 10 programs that have run on my Windows 7 machine.

I'm not all that interested in the program because I can create new styles using StyleMagic.

hi Joe
I have taken this file from my working Windows10 Pro 64bit PC (which uses DirectX 12). File resides in Windows\System32 folder. You can download it here:
Download dxgi.dll
(link will expire in two weeks)

PS: DirextX system is bonded with graphic card drivers. That is, graphic card (and it's drivers) must support DirectX version you're using.
