These videos broadcast all the time by the ORGAFORUM site are fakes intended to line the pockets of the site which puts them online.
The "No. 2" will no longer exist and will be replaced by the acronym "II", which will avoid confusion with "V2" and what the site does not know, due to lack of information.
Then everyone is free to think what they want if it pleases them.

Do you think that Yamaha have solved the bad screen print and the shiny suface annoyance that some get?
I do not get the shiny surface as i cleathe most used areas with Glasses cleaner which contains alchohol.
Dooes a great job on keeping everything Matt. For me it is bad printed buttons

We'll see with use.
To clean the hull, I used a neutral dusting spray like for vehicle dashboards.
Nothing that is aggressive.
On the other hand, I think that the dye did not support the perspiration of the fingers, which made the color shiny in certain places.
I remember similar observations with the T5.

You probably know this, but just to be sure: Never spray directly on the keyboard. Spray into a cloth and use that to clean the keyboard.

The only shiny part i ever got is around the base of the volume knob.
I use Specsavers Glasses cleaner and never looked back .
Back to Matt Black.
I do use a lense cloth.

Depends on the marketing strategy Yamaha have chosen for this new arranger. But yes, I do expect some clues / sneak previews / teasers. I certainly hope so!

Depends on the marketing strategy Yamaha have chosen for this new synthesizer. They've released a cool sneak preview with partial pictures and sound examples. We'll see what comes next...

I saw another friend-of-a-friend rumor for Monday, October 9. Who knows? Monday is a little weird because "never launch on Monday or Friday" is a thing in marketing.

Does it really matter? Be Zen. 

MIDI 2.0 is busting out. Gearnews caught a leak of the KORG Keystage MIDI 2.0 controller -- with polyphonic aftertouch. Might see MIDI 2.0 in both Genos II and Montage M.

There are rumours of a launch in November so we may get some hints next month.
  I certainly am waiting to see what improvements have been made and what additions added that I will use bearing in mind that a large number of these keyboards are owned by home players.

I reckon if you believe now  we are all with you.
In 2017 it was about october 5th when teasers came out and i picked my Genos up on 17th October 2017 or a little after that.
I have started to back up everything to a separate USB hard drive.
The worst thing about a new keyboard is going up into the loft to get the box out and the keyboard lifting, also crawling about playing electric train sets plugging in all connections at each station.
These keyboards are getting more pro now and i just hope stylemaking gets easier, Guitars and string get even better.
Also it would be great to have visual EQ for setting up speakers.
As someone said it would be great if Yamaha made a decent Stylemaking program even if we had to pay for it.
Oh yes --Seamless switching would be handy and as promised a Cap Columbia coffee maker incorporated unless Eileen you want the Cup 'o'Tea version.

I'm not saying that isn't true, because I don't know, but that date would be... weird.

Yamaha will reveal the Montage M somewhere around that date and I can imagine Yamaha want all attention on Montage M.

We know that Peter will play at the Yamaha UK event November 24th. This will probably be on the Genos II.

I am waiting for a spectral Layers discount hopefully at some stage.I wouln't mind this program, but not in a rush.
Great for remixing older tracks that i am unhappy with. Take a single track out and re do it and put it back in the mix.
Also change volumes etc . Looks a great program.
I do use Ozone also ,but i am leaning more to Wavlab more as Ozone are wacky with their price differences.
Surely there is not Cubase 3 on the horizon already.
We are going to need deep pockets this year

For now i will keep it GENOS

Thanks for finding the link, Soundphase! Strictly speaking, I can't state it's fake, since it is a live stream starting October 5th 11pm CET and there is nothing to see yet. However, his other videos give a clue about the trustworthiness of this channel.

1. There are at least three clickbait fake Genos 2 videos on the channel.

2. There's a video of one year ago, with the titel "Genos 2 with Peter Baartmans".  That video is a re-uploaded Genos feature video made by Yamaha with... Martin Harris. 

So I think it's safe to say that the livestream will never happen...
