Hello everyone,
I need help with this issue, how can I listen YouTube or mobile music through the keyboard speakers?
I have tried with usb cable and midi cables and nothing seems to work.

I have a Psr ew series keyboard and I'm able to do this with a usb cable but this doesn't work with my sx700.

I also want to hear the piano and mobile music using the headphones jack.
And I'm unable to do this either I only hear the piano sound.

How can I do this? Or what else do I need to buy?

Thanks.

Did you try to use AUX input - minijack cable from phone to keyboard?

Do you own a psr sx model?

The PSR-SX700 does not have a built-in USB Audio interface. The USB-to-Host connection to a computer / smartphone / tablet can therefore only be used for USB-MIDI. But MIDI cannot be used for Audio transmission.
With some devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone, Mac computer) the digital audio transmission to PSR-SX models and Genos works via Wi-Fi (instead of an analogue cable connection to the AUX IN jack). However, the Yamaha USB Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) adapter "UD-WL01" is required for this on SX models.

Most users therefore just use an Audio cable with a 3.5 mm TRS (stereo) mini jack plug to connect it to the AUX IN jack of the SX keyboard. Which plug you need on the other side of the cable depends on the playback device you are using.

By the way, you set the AUX IN volume on the SX700 in the Mixer display (Panel > page 2). If necessary, you can also adjust the output volume (headphone output) on the MP3 player / smartphone / tablet / computer used. Also note that the AUX IN volume is also affected by the SX700's master volume control.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Yes, SX700. Analogue minijack (3,5 mm) cable into AUX IN is the cheapest and easiest way to solve your problem.
