There isn't a list of internal error codes, so we're on our own.  :o

What was the last operation you attempted to perform? Many times, Genos displays an error code when a MIDI file (or other file) has some internal errors/corruption. MIDI files from the Web are notoriously bad -- and not just on Genos!

All the best -- pj

I use the universal fix for error codes on and off the Genos. I always power cycle the Genos or restart Windows when I'm using my PC. That always does it for me.

I agree with PJ. It's likely an external file that's not playing nice with the Genos OS.

Yes, corrupt file. Just start again.

This can also happen if you are selecting different things to quickly. You have to give Genos a little breathing space as on any keyboard.

This means that the speed of light is not that high :D

I exceeded the speed of light once, contrary to the physical laws of science. I sprinted around the Earth's equator and arrived back at the same spot a few seconds before I left. Dr. Stephen Hawking would have fun with that equation - and probably explain it!

But we digress...👀.

I suspect the CPU of the keyboard is a little slow. Yes, if you do things too fast the newer Yamaha keyboards get confused.

Something else we must be aware of. When a spinning disk drive starts to die, you get little warnings about file corruption or in accessible sectors. Most of the data can be recovered if you catch the problem early enough.

When an SSD starts to die, it's game over. You can't retrieve anything. Hence, backup your Genos all the time.

"Power cycle" = turn the device off, then turn it back on.
