Hello,
I am wondering if there is a simple way to read chords from MP3 file songs.
I have a program called "Power Chords: Pro Audio 12", but it seems to only be able to read the chords from midi songs.
I would be very appreciative if others, who have done this successfully, might share their experiences with me.

Thanks,

Mark

I use Riffstation.  Not 100% successful (I would say about 60-80% accurate), but provides a useful guide.

Mark, try Chord Tracker from Yamaha. Only about 95% accurate (doesn't work well when the arrangement is 'thin') but otherwise it's really good.

You could also have just emailed me :p

Thanks, Mark and Roy
I really appreciate your ideas and I will give them a try.
Have either of you tried the app "Chord ai" ???
It is mentioned on the internet as an Apple app to identify chords.

Hi ... I have not tried Chord ai but Scaler2 has this feature. As with the others, it isn't 100% accurate but give you a good starting point.
