Hi all,

I just saw that there is an updated version of "CasmEdit" by Evgeny Osenenko (v3.1.1.1 from January 8, 2022). The program installer can be downloaded here:
>>> https://www.mnppsaturn.ru/osenenko/casmeditsetup.exe

Alternatively, the update can also be called up directly from an installed older version.

By the way, meanwhile this Style/CASM editor program seems to be fully SFF2 compatible (which, as is well known, was not the case for a long time). See the first attached picture.

P.S.
The program also includes a rather powerful function to convert "SFF2 > SFF1". (See the second attached image.)

Edit 2022-03-25:
Current version of "CasmEdit" is V3.1.9.1 now.

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

The programmer probably looked at StyleMagic to figure out the CASM settings.  Thomas was the first to figure things out. The late Klaus Grosser at EMC never got it right.  There are bugs in his programs when it comes to SFF2

Hello,
November 2021 I had contact with Evgeny Osenenko to ask if there would be a upgrade for SFF2 styles in CasmEdit.
At first he didn't intend to do, but as it was already asks several times by other users he decided to make the program SFF2 ready.

You do not need to figure out the CASM settings in another program.
There exists a document 'Style files - Introduction and details' created by Peter Wierzba and Michael P. Bedesem.
http://www.wierzba.homepage.t-online.de/stylefiles.htm
In this doc all the CASM details are described. The same document I use for the CASM view in MixMaster.
Jorgens site (Jososoft) has also some very valuable documents about the CASM settings.

StyleMagicYA from Thomasz is a very good program. I just renewed my subscription today.
I think CasmEdit (Evgeny Osenenko) and StylemagicYA (Thomasz) can both be helpful in creating Styles.

Etienne
