Even though, like most of you, I've accumulated probably 1000-2000 styles which are on my PC's hard drive or on USB jump drives I'd say that 90% of the songs I play are played using one of my 20 or so favorites.

A few months ago I somehow acquired a style called "Singing the blues".  You can download it here if you're interested:
https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZSTUaXZNIsLWOkID3RdUoAbuwEiDVRs6npV

I've used it frequently since I got it.

Here I've used it for the song PUT YOUR HAND IN THE HAND

https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZ5AxaXZ90qxC9fy1SQ2qUGT9nF9CkmcOxHX

At this point this is one of my very favorite styles.  I was wondering if we can start a thread here where others share a download link to their very favorite styles.

For me I always hope for an SFF1 style since that's what my DGX-650 uses.

regards and Happy New Year to you all,

Larry

Good luck,

Hi Gary

Thanks very much, although not quite what I was expecting.  Which ones of the 9300+ are your favourites.

Gary,
While I appreciate the link to all the dozens (hundreds?)  of styles I think you missed the spirit of my original post.
I was pointing out one particular style that I like and use a lot and hoped others had one (maybe two) standout styles they use.

I did not expect someone would post a link to many many styles.

So thank you and Happy New Year.

Thanks for the kudos, everyone. Many of the styles are song specific and contain song specific intros and endings. I think Charlie's styles are among the top styles, and right up there with all of the SM series, which are just incredible. There are likely some duplicates, though I tried to eliminate them. Of the 55,000 style files I have on hand, this collection of 9,300 are the best. Of them, when I was still performing, I used about 3,500 on a regular basis, but I have used all of them at one time or another during a performance.

Enjoy,

Gary 8)

Kind gestures such as yours are what makes The World a better place.  I'm not clever enough to make my own styles and really appreciate folk such as yourself (and many others over the years on PSR Forum) making their collections available to the members at large.

Thank you for taking the time to share your amazing collection.

Many thanks Gary for sharing a great bunch of styles.
Really appreciated.

Larry, I think you will have to start a new thread, as we all diverted from your original subject. :) I use the style 60.s GuitarPop from my 2100 a lot. But I try to get different versions of it with different intros and endings. If I play a medley I can use the same style for all the songs in the medley, but I also like to have one style for each song, gives more variation to the playing.

Thank you so much Gary for all the styles which will take me forever to audition. Very generous of you.

Larry, sorry this isn't what you are looking for.

I'd like to add my thanks and praise to Gary for his generosity. The styles are one thing but the OTSs are something else. What great collection of styles and sounds.

I recently bought a Korg Pa300 to add to my Genos so downloaded #1 from the Korg PAX collection. I've just tried them out (on my Genos of course) and loved the styles but was bowled over by the OTSs that are in them. There is so much to listen to and study, plus think about what songs they're for.

I think I may need to download a few more to try out.

Thank you so much, Gary.

Happy New Year everyone.

Thank you so much Gary for sharing. It would take us a very long time collecting and filtering thousands of styles to get this. Happy new year!
I'm wondering what the "SM" series mean.
Thanks again, Ted

travlin-easy

I never discovered what SM stood for, but once I got into auditioning them, I was absolutely amazed. Thanks everyone for the compliments and I'm confident that everyone that downloaded the styles will have a lot of fun playing them.

Happy New Year to the members of the best Yamaha arranger keyboard forum on the Internet,

Thank you very much Gary
I have just downloaded these styles you have kindly shared with us.
Think it will take a very long time to try them all
But I am sure they must be very good if you have used them Gary

Hope you are keeping well.

Thanks for the Styles Gary,
I hope you are OK
Finding a good style and voices takes more time than learning the song

Also a huge thank you from me, Gary  ;D ;D

I tend to prefer the slow ballad styles and adjust them accordingly for each application. I couldn't tell you what they are though as I rename them once adjusted or I lose track of them :) I know I have used the Orchbalads from the Sx900 a few times.

Thanks Gary for all the Styles, I am sure I will find many Songs to play with them.
