Hello, Has anyone got the PSR S900 Jazz Draw voice? It has been omitted from the flute section on the tyros4 and I have a piece that I like playing but that voice is not available. Would very much appreciate it if someone could send it to me. Thanks lots. Regards, Denn

Hi Denn,

The S900 Organ Flutes Preset voice "JazzDraw!" is not available on Tyros4 as a Preset voice.

In principle, you could just take a different, similar-sounding Organ Flutes voice and then change it according to your wishes after pressing the "Organ Flutes" button. (See pages 44/45 in the Tyros4 Owner's Manual, which also describes how to save your own Organ Flutes Voices.)

You can also simply download the original S900 voice from my Dropbox here:
>>> https://www.dropbox.com/s/4538dmky2hn9pet/JazzDraw%21.S388.org.zip?dl=0

Unzip the downloaded file on your computer and copy the file "JazzDraw!.S388.org" onto a USB stick, which you then connect to the Tyros4. You can then call up the voice directly from the USB stick, or you can copy it (in the Voice Selection display) to the User drive or to the HD's internal hard drive beforehand.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Or you could spend a little time working with the on screen drawbars in the Organ Flutes section. These will give you that sound, but you'll be able to fine tune it, change the DSP rotary effect etc. And of course, you'll be able to create any drawbar combination - there are mathematically around 253 million combinations, but probably around 100 are useful and around a dozen or so regularly used. Lots of fun to be had! :)
It's not what you play, it's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
