Yes. Edit the midi file to have the title you want.

Thanks for your help Fred. You are a great resource. 

It is not clear how to do this in the reference manual, so I thought I would show interested folks how to do it step by step.

Go to:

Song Creator> Lyrics> Filter(H button)> Song name(at bottom of list below lyrics)> select check box>exit>title should now be displayed> change the name(press "data entry" buttons #4 or #5 to access alphanumeric keypad)>save.
