Has anyone been able to download performances by Rico (his site KeyBTyros).  He now plays the Genos and the Roland G70.   I have tried lots of download apps without any luck.   I would like  to download his music if anyone has managed to do this I would really appreciate details on how to do it.

Hi Melodies,

are you talking about Rico's YouTube channel? (Rico is also present on Facebook, but I can give you only information how to download from YouTube.)

Please answer also these two additional questions:

1. Do you want to download Rico's music as Video or as MP3?
2. Which webbrowser do you use?

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Melodies,

I really enjoy Rico's performances too; he is very expressive, it's obvious that he has a great time!

My favorite YouTube performer on Genos and PSR-S970 is Roberto Zeolla; he has been posting a song every single day since he got a Genos, in February 2019, and many before with the PSR and others keyboards. He really gets the best out of his keyboards. He had me appreciate the Genos long before I got mine!

I use the Mac version of YouTube Downloader. Available for Windows too. It gives the option of mp3 or mp4 for the downloaded file.

Regards,

Yvon.

Hi Melodies

Yes I have just downloaded a couple of his Youtube Vids.

With Vid playing right click and click on "Copy Video URL"
Open The MP3 Convertor and click on the PLUS sign at the top ledt hand side.
Once the link has been established you need to click on the small arrow next to the listing on the convertor.
Once done the MP3 file is saved to a Folder in your MUSIC called "Downloaded by MediaHuman"

The other nice feature of this convertor is that it saves a picture from the Video, you cam see this when browsing through your folders or on the MP3 player etc.

Hi Melodies,

I usually use an online YouTube-to-MP3 converter service. To find such websites go to Google search (www.google.com) and search for yt mp3.  Choose one of the first search results. Note: Some of these sites produce unwanted pop-ups or open unwanted third-party websites. In this case, simply try out another search result. (I  have installed an adblock extension (Adblock Plus) in my browser (Firefox). This removes many annoying content when using such free online converter services.)

Open and play the desired video on YouTube. Then pause the video, if desired.

Click the URL in the URL bar of the browser to select it and COPY it (e.g. using Ctrl + C).

Go to an online converter site. There PASTE the copied Video URL (e.g. using Ctrl + V) and proceed the conversion.

Finally click on the MP3 download link provided.

P. S.
The downloaded MP3s usually are in 192 kbits/s quality. This is a good compromise between Audio quality and file size, I think. But on most of such converter sites you can change the default conversion settings as desired.

Best regards,
Chris

Bills suggestion is the best,

Just make sure the Preference is set Correct, Change the Default Location, and Quality of the Downloaded File. Also Speed of the Download.

Thankyou for your replies.   Unfortunately I have not had the time this week to try this

Hi Melodies.
I download anything from utube and any other website with music or video content in seconds. Actually Chris gave you a good lead. I do not use my computer for the download.. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and loaded the  YT3.apk from the internet on to my phone which once installed opens the YT3 YouTube MP3 app. This is one of the best for audio and HD video. If used on the phone it downloads to the default MUSIC folder of the phone in a matter of seconds. Now as a second option on the android phones, you can go to the Google Playstore  and download the MP3 Music Downloader by Dragon-fly Productivity. This is similar to the  YT3 YouTube, but has lots of ads, slower on downloads of videos, pushes the use of your data plan so if you connect to WIFI instead of your phone data, you may get "servicing checking" message and app will not open until you turn the WIFI off. Some music and videos(more current ones ) may not load. but, it is a good second choice.  Tried lots of other apps out there and would not waste my time on anything else.
I have been using these for a few years and have never hit something that one or the other could not download.
You got some good replies in this thread so you should be good.   Good Luck..     dom

I use "Clip Grab" to download videos with music, it works well.
