Hi All I think I posted these on the wrong page as sure they would be better on the Christmas concer page.   Enjoy :-)

Hi All and I thought I would share not one but my last 3 Xmas tunes today as the last video's I will be producing until next year with the exception on one on new year's eve.  As many of you already know I work within the dance world providing music for ballroom, latin and popular dance around the UK and Australia and New Zealand.

I'm sharing with you.  My Xmas Showtime Medley,  Fairytale of new York adapted as a waltz and finally We Wish You A Merry Xmas

I purchased my SX900 in February of this year just before the UK lock down and have had a wonderful time getting to know it and it really is the most fabulous arranger. I had also never made, edited any video's until the end of March and with these three today have somehow produced a staggering 780 videos ...learning all the while how to make them better and hopefully entertained all my followers and in that time have probably shared about 30 or so with you all on this forum and made some good friends along the way.  So I woud like to wish you all where ever in the world you are a very happy Xmas and new year and just like so many praying and hoping we will get back to some normality at some point in 2021.    David

Merry Christmas to you David,
I loved your Showtime medley. It was excellent!
Were you using the Showtime style for this accompaniment ?
Thanks for posting.

Very innovative and all well played.  Merry Christmas to you!

hi Mark, thanks for the comments, yes it was the showtime medley. normally I would fiddle around with them a bit but this is a great style. I wish Yamaha had many more like this as such a musicals fan :-)

SciNote

Very nice, full-bodied recordings.  While the keyboard is clearly playing some of the background, it is obvious that you are playing much of the melody and background as well in a very professional fashion, clearly showing that you know your way around a keyboard!

Hi Bob, thank you for the comments. I have been a Yamaha keyboard player and demonstrator for the company in the past so I yes do know my way around arranger keyboards lol...I started off on the 6100 and that is really going back in time and worked my way through the psr 7000, 8000, 3000 and just recently the s950 but this new sx is a bigger jump than ever before in quality and performance features. I have always loved them and enjoyed as the backings and features have got more advanced. Sometimes I let the keyboard do more work and sometimes not I am actually a classical con cert pianist by profession so am used to playing the full tune ....having produced 780 video's in less than a year I thought I would let the keyboard do a bit of the work for the last few pieces!  ,Merry xmas
