Mr. Gary

I have a PSR S775, and I've connected a wireless Bluetooth adapter. However I can't pair the keyboard to the wireless earpods, any assistance greatly appreciated,  thanks.

I might be wrong ....but if its like the SX you cant bluetooth OUT  only IN
I can play my ipad and phone through the board no problem but cant export sound

This is due to latency issues ...being a keyboard the sound needs to be instant and if there is a delay in keystrike/sound  then it obviously affects this.

It has been mentioned in other threads

Hi Gary,

what is the exact type (brand) of this Bluetooth (BT) adapter?

The Yamaha BT adapters (MD-BT01 and UD-BT01) only support MIDI (not Audio). Standard USB BT adapters (USB type A plug) are intended for use with a  Computer. They will NOT work when connected to a Yamaha keyboard.

The only thing that would work: You would have to use an external BT adapter that has a Stereo Audio input and can TRANSMIT the INCOMING Audio signal (from the keyboard's Audio outputs). (But most of such external BT adapters can only RECEIVE a BT signal and have only an Audio OUTPUT.) And this external BT adapter must of course also be compatible with your BT earpods.

Important: In most cases, BT audio connections have a certain Latency (playback delay). This significantly affects the Live play on the keyboard or makes it completely impossible.

Newer BT versions (higher than V4.0) now have a relatively low Latency, but in certain cases (e.g. unfavorable transmission or reception conditions) the Latency can also be higher, so that Live playing with BT Monitoring is no longer possible.

P.S.
Rick D. had mentioned such a BT Audio Transmitter device here. But, due to Latency probems, he can not use it for Live playing:

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Mr. Gary

Thank you so much for the replies and sincere apologies for the late acknowledgement, much has happened...
