Which style to play Round D Minor by Augusto Martelli

Round D minor is a popular opening song of the weekly TV Show GRAND PRIX, composed by Augusto Martelli.
It's an outstanding fusion jazz piece, and i was looking for a specific style to try and reproduce even a small part of it, but I couldn't find anything.
Any hints ?
