I see pedal functions on SX are all as per 'usual' Yamaha which is great .

I suppose we all have our special choice but -
My favourite function is FILL BREAK

This is PERFECT held down in some passages for a multi bar fill break - give it a try if you have not used it, it really can be a hidden GEM in some styles.

Anyone get any other snippets

I also like to use pedal two for Harmony/Echo as being left handed I find it difficult sometimes to produce chords with right hand.

I like it for pitch bend. Needs to be properly set up but does a great job on sax, trombone and guitar, slides, and can also be used to get a vibrato effect. Much easier and more realistic than moving your lh on the wheel.

I use three pedals: two switches and one expression. The expression pedal is mostly set on "volume" for Left, R1, R2 and R3, so I can change the volume balance between the voices and styles.
The switches get used for different features, depending on the song/registration I'm using: sustain, modulation, fill break, start/stop, R2/3 on/off, bass hold, etc.
