80s - Stock Aitken Waterman

Back in the 80s, there were a number of songs in the charts from the producers Stock, Aitken Waterman. They produced for lots of artists like Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Rick Astley, Sinitta etc.

I don't think it's unfair to say that their work mostly sounded similar regardless of who was performing. It was a fairly distinctive sound, sepecially in the rhythm patterns, and I quite like it 

Does anyone have any styles that are close to what they produced?

Still to try the styles tonight.

I recently saw Jason Donovan performing at an 80's festival and, while he puts on a good show, let's just say the vocals were definately live

I haven't tried them though to see how they sound and if they are very old.
I just play a style only when I search for a specific song.

Live vocals? wow! I guess that's something new now days.hahaha
Sometimes I take a look of a live performance from a concert on youtube and I hear several "layers" of vocals of the same singer's voice while they also sing "live".
And at the chorus a bunch of backing vocals from other singers.
I can sing correctly too this way you know

I was a teenager when those songs released and I was fun of watching video clips of those artists and Kylie was.....ahhhhh gosh....what a beauty!
