Hi friends,
I've sampled a Steinway D grand piano, a few years ago. I just want to insert cross-fade loops on samples decays, but I have tons of samples! So...anyone know about a software that let me to create cross-fade loop for ONE sample, and then COPY that loop information (lenght, X-fade) for all other samples? Kontakt by Native Instruments does this operation perfectly but it can't export WAV samples with loop informations! :( Doing loops for every single sample is an infinite work, help me please!

Francesco, I do not know if SampleRobot from Skylife can do that ... just an idea.

I know, Francesco ;) ... a friend of mine does a lot with it. He always says that he has saved light years of time.

Hi Francesco,

I use Polyphone to do those kinds of things.

It's free, it's powerful, and it allows batch operations (such as defining loop points in multiple notes). There is a learning curve – as in any good software – but I'd definitely recommend it! :)

It generates SF2 files that can be perfectly imported to Yamaha keyboards via YEM. Good luck!  ;)
