I am constantly searching for drum beats that appeal to me.
Is it "difficult"*** to take the drum track of a Yamaha MIDI Song, and transfer or  transform it into a style?

*** difficulty depends on ones skills... mine are low in tech. But if the steps are not too lengthy . I think I could do this... of course, assuming it is doable.
I use T4 as a drum machine. Playing my own acmp and bass. MIDI songs are my latest interest. If anyone wishes to share knowledge on MIDI songs let me know.

You can  take the drum parts of a midi with this program.
But as you said I dont know if it is easy or not for someone.
For just the drum pattern looks easy to me.

Just a tip:
"true" for all channels except the rhythm(drum) channel which should be "false" in order to extract just the drums.

sugarplumsss,

Once you have converted the drums from a MIDI song file to a style with just the drum part... you then can use Style Creator Assembly on your keyboard to copy the new drum part to any style you choose.
