For those unaware "Cold Case" was an American TV drama which ran for seven years between 2003 and 2010. There's over 100 episodes and the series is often repeated on different networks.
The premise is that a dept of the Philidelphia Police re-open cold cases when new evidence comes to light. The cases can be decades old.
The drama encorporates  scenes from the date of the original crime.
Contemporary music is used during those scenes.
At the end of each episode, the final scene has a recording of a record from that time played over it.

These "endings" have become a bit of  a cult and a great many of these have been  posted on YouTube.
Some of the whole episodes too have been uploaded.

Anyway, they are quite inspirational for me as they can revive the memory of a tune I like.

Here's the ending of "Wasp." A story about the women in the US equivelant  of the British ATA during WW2

The singer is "The Liltin' Miss Tilton." As she was known.

This is from "Daniela."

The singer is David Gates.

Two great tunes  like from different eras.

The second episode inspired me to record that tune a couple of years ago on my old PSR 1000. The quality isn't that good as I recorded it on my little digital camera.

Thanks for that.

No,  haven't got it any more, I sold it on eBay for a couple of hundred quid. I really didn't have the room for it. Even this 76 key Tyros is a bit of a squeeze.
