Which "Lower range keyboard"? What kind of "PC connection"?

You can transfer just one external style into style number 163 on an I425.

To do this you need to use a USB connection to a computer and Yamaha's 'Musicsoft Downloader' program.

The style must be the original Yamaha Style File Format 'SFF' (SFF1) and have the file extension '.STY'.

The keyboard can only access two style variations, although styles with 4 variations may well load if they are not too large, but you will still only be able to access two of them.

You can use Jørgen Sørensen's  'Style Format 2 Converter', 'Style Old Format Converter' and 'Style ReMixer' on a computer to modify styles (reduce size, remove OTS, choose two variations from four, etc.) if necessary for keyboards such as the I425.   Here is a link to the page containing these utilities...

Old Style Converter
How do I know for sure it's Sff1

The keyboard isn't mine
And I don't wanna damage the keyboard
But I really need to add custom styles

There is another program on Jørgen Sørensen's page at the link provided earlier called 'Style Format Finder' which will tell you.

Alternatively, you can load a style into Michael Bedesem's 'MidiPlayer' or 'Mixmaster' programs and you can see the style format in these...    https://psrtutorial.com/MB/bedesem.html

Note that even if you manage to successfully convert styles to play on the I425, remember that you can only have one external style in the keyboard at any one time, and you must use a computer to transfer it, so it's not really practicable for live playing!
