Hi,
This may be a stretch - but I am wondering if it is possible to find out which styles are suggested for each of the Genos "Playlist" songs???
From the Forum here I have seen a list of the "songs titles" in each category from the Genos Playlist - but I am trying to find out what "style" is being suggested for each of those songs.
Maybe too much to hope for, but I have constantly been amazed at what is available from this Forum, so I thought I would ask.

Thanks,

Mark

This is like the "Registration Info" screen ,but for Playlist. You can't do it in this release of OS. Maybe in an next OS update ;)
Yes, this could be useful, because you might know and select the next song based by the same style ;) Nice feature ;)

When the song is loaded just press exit and you will see in the style window what is being used. If it is one you like and want to access quickly save to style Favorites.

Mark,

I also tried to make such a list. But I did not find any way other than loading each registration into Genos and look on the screen. I did not find any automatic way on PC.

I did this for some songs I was interested in.
I've attached the XL file that has columns for song, Genre, style, Intro, ending, tempo, and "similiar" (is the reg similar to the original).
You might find it useful.  Sorry I didn't do more songs but it took many hours for just these 160 songs.

Hi Ed,
This is exactly what I was hoping to find.
Thank you so much for all your work in putting this together.

Hi Mark,

I compiled a Genos Playlist sorted on song title. This list shows the Song title, Style name, Style section and Tempo

In a second list (Genos Playlist per Registration), I sorted some registration bank information on Style section.
So, when you look up a song in the Song title list, note the Style section and find bank buttons information in the second list.

I cannot even imagine how you did this but it is a great resource.   Thanks

Hi Folks:

I've added a different twist to Stijn's lists.  Using the Report function in YRM I've created reports of the entire contents of each playlist registration and compiled them into an Excel spreadsheet.

Enjoy

One can do without most things, but not without the pleasure of music.

Hi
just reading this thread, very good but, unless Im missing something, there isn't actually the "playlist" file to load into the genos.
Has anyone done this??

thanks  John

Hi John,

You can download the list from my Dropbox:

or you can visit this site and scroll down to the section called 'Other downloads'
where you 'll find some Bonus Audio Style packs and other goodies.

Ahhh,
Sorry, I didn't realise this list was from the Yamaha bonus lists...
I have those, I just assumed these were a new list.

Sorry. I should have checked..

Remember that the play lists work from USB 1 so make sure you have the USB plugged into Genos to use them.
