I'm not seeing major changes Genos 1 to 2.

That said, if I were to buy another Genos today, it would be version 2. I say this because I love my Genos1

I had bought a Korg PA 4X, which by the way, I thought was an awesome keyboard. 

My PA4X, as awesome as it was, and for me, had a better keybed, didn't have the country voices I needed.

So many wonderful choices now

Yup, this is one of the major differences. If you're addicted to expansion voices and customization, Yamaha offers an instrument palette from many, many different countries and genres. Korg, to date, I've still only seen Middle Eastern/Oriental, and Indian.

1 of my Korg die hard customer is eyeing Genos 2 now that after 10 years of owning Korg products, he still can't get Chinese instrument sounds.

Note: pjd already knows this, but our store is situated where the majority of people living here are Chinese; a lot of store signs are English and Chinese, rather than French!

Yamaha has an 'Aloha' guitar voice that sounds like the best steel guitar I have heard.

Korg didn't have that..or at least I didn't find a way to duplicate that sound.

Yamaha is wonderful... so reasonable $$$ wise.  So is Korg.
