Hello all

I just bought my second sx 970 and I do a one man band thing and play a few gigs each month for seniors (I am a senior Too) and Ive only unleashed a small potential of what i can do here. keyboard #1s display got funky and I have been taking a computer monitor and using it for display.
My hope is to use the keyboard #2 at home to develop patches and convert them to the old one for gigs with thumb drive.  I sing everything too so I want to get better on the harmonizer and even record some simple things i can sing over and maybe try to loop.
My first attempt was to grab the accompaniment of a certain style and shut off the bass ===play left hand bass lines while dictating the arrangement style with my right hand and then turn the auto bass back on -----I had a rough time with that but just figured it out--Im not interested in Karaoke ---I want to do taccompaniments myself .  I used to play the bass on an arp odyssey and way back I had a rhodes, then a DX7 then I went through my Kurzweil K2000 faze and sprinkle that with a juno or two. Im very happy with my Yamaha. I just want to get around it better!!!!        Rich (geetwee 231) Trenton NJ
