To tell the truth I was never a big fan of Michael Jackson (the man or his music) and of the Jackson 5.
But one song I always thought was great was I'LL BE THERE.  It dates back to 1970 -   55 years ago.  wow.

Here's my most recent recording of it on my DGX-650.

I couldn't describe myself as a fan of Michael Jackson, but I do admire his amazing voice, and some of his live performing was both extraordinary and groundbreaking.
This is a great song but so were Billie Jean, Ben, Thriller, my own favorite 'She's out of my life' and many others. Some written by him, and some just interpreted/performed by him.
A flawed individual certainly, but up there with the 'Greatest of all Time' - might even say genius - of musical entertainment.

Nice rendition!

I am a fan of MJJ. I was in shock the day he passed away (I cried the day Freddie Mercury did).
Michael Jackson was a unique talent, sure, but it was the combination of MJJ and Quincy Jones that was pure gold.
