Styles on Genos2 vs. PSR-SX920/720

There is an interesting new video posted by Keyboardseminaire  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SaFsG2-uD4  on the use of the insert effects and DSP on the SX920/720. You can use translate on YouTube to see English subtitles.  The video explains that due to the much larger number of DSPs on the Genos2, each style track can have its own insert effect DSP, while on the SX920, only 4 tracks of the 8 style tracks can have their own insert effect DSPs.  Also, the reverb type is set by the style (unless the user changes it manually) and thus the reverbs of the very same styles on the Genos2 and SX920 are indeed different since only the Genos2 has Revelation Reverb.  This means that, in principle, the same style on the Genos2 vs. SX920 may sound different due to the use of more DSPs in the style tracks and different reverbs.  I am not sure how much of this is relevant to the average user and I don't have an SX920 to compare with my Genos2.  But the information is interesting. Also, the right hand voices have different reverbs on the two instruments and may sound different in the final mix.

I have a SX920 but the video's closed caption is only in German. I do not see any way to change it to English.

You are right, I (average use) have not had any desire to change DSP settings.

However for my right hand voice choices I do have my favorites. I go through almost every OTS voice on the styles on the keyboard and all the styles I rework from expansion packs. When I find a OTS that I like, I note the style name it is in and which Main (ABCD).

I just found a new one yesterday. In the new G2 "Standard Styles Collection" the guitar OTC voice setup in the Main "C" of the Std 8Beat, sounds really good for Country lead solos. I intend to insert it (copy & paste) into some of my existing custom song styles.

On my Android phone using the YouTube app, on the video,  I click on settings and chooseCaptions. The default is German, but if you click on this, you get an auto translate option. Click on that and choose English.

1) Click "CC" in the bar at the bottom of the video. This will turn on the auto-generated subtitles.
2) Click the gear icon to the right of CC ("Settings"). Now select: Subtitles/CC > Auto-translate > English
