Hi,
I was wondering if the PSR SX 920 featured the voices and styles from the Genos 1 superior pack out of the box or if I needed to download and install the superior pack from the Yamaha website first.

I was also wondering if the SX 920 could use the Genos audio styles (freely available from the Yamaha website).

As far as I know it has EDM voices of superior pack out of the box and yes you can use audio styles..

the sx920 does not come with the superior pack voices, some are available scattered throughout random packs and the SA2 voices from the superior pack are not available for sx920, only for genos

Last year I reworked all the "Genos 2 Superior Pack" styles to work in my S950 keyboard. I use them now in my SX920 keyboard.

It might save you time to use them instead of reworking them again. They use onboard voices only, so there is no need to install anything on the keyboard's hard drive space.

And they sound great, you can check them out on the 10 videos I made to demo them.
