Genos2 Keybed - FSX is different?

I recently had a Montage M 76 which also uses the FSK keybed and somehow this Genos2 version seems different...not as smooth and a bit lighter and "thumpier" at the bottom of the key travel and on release.

IE, it does not seem the same quality. Even though Yamaha would say it is the same.

Anyone else have this experience?

Bingo! Thanks. So it IS different....thought so. Nowhere near the same quality and on a +$7k instrument too...might go back to a PA5x

Dear,
Keep in mind!! Pa5x wins in terms of build quality, hardware and materials as well as the very good and quite silent keyboard (Fatar). Also the fantastic "Seamless Transition" and the editability of the sounds is top!! As far as sound goes, they are quite similar, but when it comes to fidelity and quality of the sounds and styles, Genos is the winner!!
They both still need an extensive update!!
I have them both.

Happy New Year To All!!!

Did these descriptions of the subtle differences between the FSX keybed on Montage vs. Genos come from Yamaha? It was my understanding that the FSX keybed was the same on both. The original poster here has definitely noticed a difference because he tried both keyboards, but I am wondering if that is because of manufacturing inconsistencies and quality control rather than Yamaha actually making them "optimized" for each instrument on purpose.
