One of the Early models possibly PSR5700 ??? that gave the player a short break.
Contained an auto improvisation feature that auto played when you stopped playing.
It was very effective.
Does anyone know about that model ???

I still have a PSR-5700 in my attic. It was a great keyboard back in 1993. When I last turned it on, everything worked except the floppy drive.

I thought this auto improvisation feature was great in theory, but rather annoying in practice. It often started playing when I didn't want it to. This "Interactive Accompainiment" also changed the style variations depending on how hard you pressed the keys. I didn't like this function very much either. There is an old saying that the most important thing about an automatic function is that you can turn it off.

What I really liked, however, and miss in modern yammies, are the ritardando and accelerando functions. You couldn't just activate them with an ending like today, but in the middle of the song. It's a shame that they don't exist anymore. Or have I been missing something for years?

Kurt, Reply appreciated. It would be handy to break for a Beer or Whisky Ha!!!
My DGX670 has a few ADAPTIVE Styles that auto change Variations dependant on your play Style?pressure which I quite like.

Oh, that could have been my fault because I've never played the piano and my left hand may not apply even pressure.

I had one as well, we seem to be following a similar course through Yamaha's line up Kurt. Mine is not still working though, it got terminally damaged, but I did really love it. My favourite PSR to date.

I had one Psr5700 too. Nice times. Broken in one transportation. I'm always searching for the preset styles with no lucky.
