Genos2 control using My MFC10

I was able to pick up a reasonably priced MCD10 Foot controller. I have seen a Couple online videos of them used to operate The Genos2 even though they were designed for earlier keyboard, Up to and including the Tyros4.

Even with the MFC Manual, The Genos2 Manual and Reference Guide I am having very little luck with the programming.

The Volume control is working and by accident the sync start and Variation Is working.

My understanding is: You cannot change anything in the MFC10 From the Keyboard and it also seems you can't Change control settings
in the Genos (I Believe you could in the Tyros) You therefore need to program the foot switches to match the receive data as it exists in the keyboard. (Am I correct?)

You can also use CC  information or Note Info for control. But what for what???.

I was always pretty good with persistence but between my age and eyesight, I'm not having a good time with it.

The long and short of it is: Has anyone here managed to get their own midi pedal working. If so may I get a few pointers?
