Downloading Expansion Packs

I use an SX720.  I will use the new Expansion Explorer.  I was told you cannot use both the YEM and Expansion Explorer at the same time.  I will use the Expansion Explorer after I have downloaded the Expansion Packs that I need.  BUT, how do I download and store on my computer the Expansion Packs without using YEM to get them.  Once I get them, how do I use Expansion Explorer to find them and load them up ?  Thank you in advance..Archie Newton
