I have a new E473 and a. WAV file I want to load onto the keyboard. I have converted an MP3 file with AUDACITY to a stereo, 44.1, and 16-bit Microsoft .wav file. The file plays normally on the computer. I formatted my USB with the keyboard formatting utility. I followed all the advice on line I could find and watched every video. When I try to use it, the screen on the keyboard says, "NOFILE". Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum, Derek!

If the audio file has the correct format (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo), the problem might be that the filename is too long. As a test, rename the audio file on your computer with a short name (e.g. "Test1.wav") and copy it to the root directory of the USB stick or to a first- or second-level folder. (Third-level folders and higher on the USB stick cannot be read by the E473.) Make sure also the folder you use has a relatively short name.

Good luck!

Best regards,
Chris
