.MNT file extensions

Can anyone tell me what .MNT files are. I think they are something to do with multipads but don't know how they are used.

According to Guests are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login, there is no mnt file in Yamaha.
Are you sure it is a Yamaha file? Could you upload that file here? (as a zip)

These files come with many of the packages from 'keyboard Guests are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login'. I am sure that they are connected to the multi pads some how but don't know how to use them.

You could perhaps ask them via eMail what thes .mnt files are.

MNT for me seems like some "mounting" files for some operating systems, or software. But I don't know if there is any bonds with PADs.
Can you send me one of these files to mail? I'm very curious to check it: Guests are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login is my email

Ok, I've connected to their website and downloaded a free archive which contains a registration, a pdf with some score and this MNT file. I confirm that is a file containing some data about some ASCII tags, which are voices names, something about recording, a sequence tag, etc... Seems to be indeed a software related file, IMO.

I will study it more deeply!

You made me curious with your question.
I checked my purchases from 'keyboardsoftware' and also found a .mnt file for one of the songs.
So I sended a email with the question about those .mnt files.
Answer :
Mnt is a programming file.
You can't do anything with it, so you can delete it.
This is an extension that we use to make sheet music.
Officially, it shouldn't be included.
