Lead Sheets , Chord Looper Potential using Chordify App

I recently started using the Chorify App it has some very usefull functions.

- the main use is to figure out the chords for almost any song you can find on you tube or feed your song into it.
- it allows you to print out the lead sheet in a couple of different ways, also edit the lead sheet chords
- for some songs it also provides lryics
- also chord charts for various instuments, capo, key change, looping etc

This a paid app but cheap about $24/year cdn when its on sale. When you have it on one devise it synsc across all eg.  iphone, ipas, pc/mac


Yamaha Chord Looper Potential ?
  One intersting thing is the export functions that outputs the chord progression in 2 midi formats. One is of these is called Midi Time Aligned. This gives the chords and timing of the song using the analysed chords. I exported a song and openned it Garage Band and it worked smoothly giving the chords played and relative timing.

I am not a midi expert but it would seem to me that this could be used to make Chord Looper banks maybe not using Garage Band but some other app that works with midi that would allow breaking up of the file in sections and adding the extension that chord looper needs.

Any thoughts on Chord Looper potential use from the midi experts out there ?
